Early voting begins in Athens

Today marks the start of three weeks of early voting, with voters in Athens and around the state casting ballots in advance of the state and local elections that are scheduled for June 9, elections that were rescheduled from May 19 because of concerns about coronavirus. Early voting in Athens takes place at the Elections Office on Washington Street through Friday June 5.

Other early voting sites in Athens will include, for the week of June 1-5, the Library on Baxter Street, the Miriam Moore Community Center on McKinley Drive, and the Athens-Clarke County Extension Service office on Cleveland Road.

Early voting in Oconee County will take place at the Elections off on Court Street in Watkinsville.
