Toccoa man arrested on stabbing charges

A Stephens County man is arrested in Franklin County: Ray Goodwin is 35 years old, from Toccoa. He’s facing assault charges in the aftermath of a reported stabbing of a child and is being held in the Franklin County Detention Center. The child was, at last report, hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Goodwin was, according to reports, associated with the victim through other family members and did reside on the property. His previous addresses included the Canon and Carnesville areas.
