MARKSVILLE, La. — Authorities in Louisiana are searching for five inmates who escaped from a Marksville jail earlier this week.

Cavalier, a white man with brown hair, stands about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and faces an aggravated arson charge, authorities said.
Johnson, a Black man with black hair, is 5-foot-9 and faces several charges, including simple assault and battery, domestic abuse and home invasion, KALB reported.
Taylor, a Black man with black hair, stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and faces illegal weapons use, aggravated assault and armed robbery charges, deputies said.
