Bulldogs win epic SEC record 8 overtime game to beat Georgia Tech

ATHENS — Georgia just needed to wait until Saturday to beat Georgia Tech.

The Bulldogs used eight overtimes, an SEC record and a late fourth-quarter rally to put away Georgia Tech 44-42.

The Yellow Jackets controlled the game for the first 55 minutes.

A Haynes King rushing touchdown with 5:37 remaining put Georgia Tech up 27-13.
