ATHENS – It seems the entire SEC is making noise this season, but Georgia basketball can make itself heard with one of the loudest upsets of the year on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs (12-2, 0-1 SEC) are aiming to shock the conference at 7 p.m. when No. 6 Kentucky visits Stegeman Coliseum in UGA’s SEC home opener.
The Wildcats (12-2, 1-0) are the second leg of a staggering stretch for Georgia, as it faces seven straight ranked opponents to open conference play.
“Another really good team, and how unique is it that we’ll be saying that for 18 straight?” UGA coach Mike White said.
